Being in this sacred space brought a flood of various memories to mind...
Being at the top of The Corner Tree with Darren and looking out over Spongy Lake. Hearing a solitary Crow speaking through the steady breeze that day in another winter. A small camp had been set up at the base of the tree. A fire-pit and some bench-like logs created a very enjoyable resting juncture between two different worlds. Like a bridge connecting two vastly different lands. This resting area served as a gateway from the world of Earth and walking to the world of climbing and Air. Trusting in the limbs of a tree to guide us upwards to the safe haven above. During one of my climbs up this particular tree, I tied a small, clay bell(from Peru) (with a spiral painted in white) to a tiny branch. I look forward to making my next climb to see it still blowing gently in an afternoon breeze or perhaps being pushed about roughly by the gust of a stormy day.
Another memory linked me to dwell on when the last time was that I experienced such intense Wind. I believe it was this past summer. Darren and I were in one of the Cherry trees between his parent's home and the forest. We were gorging and basking in the powerful energy blowing all around us. We communicated by yelling and even that volume could barely be heard. Woflgang was driving his tractor around below us and was also yelling to ask what we were doing. Darren told him that we were playing. Afterwards, him and I joked about the scenario where Wolfgang is like "What? Ass-pirates?" and then starts coming up towards us - meanwhile, Darren and I are like What? Nooo stay down there! hehehe good times.
Another thing that helped such a link to these memories(and others) was the ever-present Baden Tower. Standing straight with lights flashing as always. Linking my parent's backyard to the entire realm that is Darren's parent's land and the portion of my life that has been spent there. Land, memories and experiences that I will forever worship for the enrichment and blessings which they bestowed upon me as an individual - caught in a web of excitement and adventure which continues to blossom within even now.
Then I heard the Wind-chimes which hang in a tree down the hill. Chimes from my grandmother on my mother's side - which she obtained after my grandparents transitioned. Yet another flood of memories. Visions of the deck overlooking the backyard. The Birch Trees and lawnmower, the properties beside their house, the t.v. den, living room, the basement with the old exercise bike and the area at the back that was divided by a blanket hanging on a line. All sorts of family gatherings, etc.
Words do only as much as they can - to express how divine my nature-experienes are. How often do people spend five minutes soaking up healing energy that is all around? I have a feeling not many people are even aware that it is there. When I stand up in a tree(for instance) and open my energy-collectors, I can feel my physical form replenishing energy-stores immediately. This always brings me to a place of worship and thankfulness.
Wind and Moon striking to my core. Rejuvenation.
you write very well... you might enjoy phrasing some of your work into a haiku structure.
ReplyDelete^ The comment about your writing being very well is quite true.
ReplyDeleteI can only imagine the things you describe - as they paint such a beautiful picture within one's mind.
Love you like you love the wind as it slaps your face.
