Wind and Moon Worship pt.1

I am drawn outside to enter the flow of energy that tears over the land. Wind carves a vicious path through the trees. I climb a Maple who I have been familiar with for many many years. I come to rest at his top. The branches shake and bend under the immense assault that whips by me effortlessly. I dwell on how strong these beings of the surface world are, how powerful their roots hold and how much they have grown in the last decade.

The Moon rides high within the depths of the night. He is gold and mellow. I gaze straight up at the stars and feel such a tremendous cascade of calm and astonishment at the seemingly illimitable distance between them and myself. While looking at small clusters of stars, more of the celestial bodies begin to appear once my focus narrows on any given quadrant.

I turn to face Wind. He cuts deeply through my clothes and with great ease. It is cold and refreshingly pleasant. Perfect. I descend with the intention of coming out again after a short recess.
